Automobile accidents are the most common type of accidents. Automobiles are the bedrock of our lives. We use automobiles on a daily basis. Consequently, automobiles result in over six million collisions per year. These collisions involve small compact vehicles, smaller trucks, or SUVs. These collisions can occur as rear-end collisions, head-on collisions, T-bones, sidesweeps, or rollovers.

 

Accidents can be caused by:

• Distracted driving with cell phones, the radio, texting, and while eating and driving

• Driving while impaired or while falling asleep

• Careless or reckless driving and speeding

Because automobile accidents involve anywhere between 2,000 to 10,000 pounds of metal and/or high speeds of collision, they can result in serious injury or even death.
